International patients can speak with a licensed physician online through our TouristDr telemedicine service. This allows visitors in Sweden to receive medical advice, prescription renewals and follow-up consultations without needing a Swedish personal number (personnummer) or BankID. If a physical examination is required, we can arrange an in-person appointment at our clinic within a few hours. In these cases, the physical consultation can be booked with a 700 SEK top-up to the online consultation, ensuring a seamless transition from telemedicine to in-clinic care.

No. You do not need a Swedish personal number (personnummer) or BankID to receive medical care at our clinic.
Appointments can be booked easily by international visitors, and consultations are conducted in English to ensure clear communication.
Can tourists get prescriptions from Swedish doctors?
Yes. Licensed Swedish physicians can issue electronic prescriptions (e-recept) that can be collected at pharmacies throughout Sweden.
Most pharmacies in Sweden have English-speaking staff and are accustomed to assisting international patients.
What conditions can be treated at your clinic?

Yes. Licensed physicians at Mindr can issue medical certificates for international patients when required.
These certificates may be needed for travel insurance claims, fit-to-fly documentation, prescription medication transport or work and study requirements.
Documentation can be provided in English.

Yes. We provide medical documentation suitable for travel insurance reimbursement.
Insurance claim documentation is provided free of charge for patients covered by travel or international health insurance.
How quickly can I see a doctor?
Appointments are often available the same day, and in many cases patients can be seen within a few hours depending on availability.
As from April 1, 2026 it will be even easier for you to contact a doctor through our app TouristDr which will be the only telemedicine app dedicated to tourists, expats, erasmus students and international visitors in Sweden. Meeting a doctor could take a couple of hours, at most.
Our clinic reserves consultation slots each day to accommodate urgent medical needs.

Yes. International visitors can consult a physician through TouristDr, our telemedicine service.
This allows patients to receive medical advice, prescription renewals and follow-up consultations online without needing a Swedish personal number.
TouristDr will launch April 1, 2026.

Patients travelling from other parts of Sweden can also receive consultations at our clinic or use our upcoming telemedicine service.
