What We Do Not Treat at Our Urgent Care Clinic
If you experience any of the following emergency symptoms, seek immediate medical attention at an emergency department (akutmottagning) or call 112.
Respiratory Distress or Severe Shortness of Breath
If you have difficulty breathing or are experiencing severe respiratory distress, you must seek immediate care at an emergency room or call 112.
Chest Pain or Suspected Heart Attack
Chest pain, pressure in the chest, or pain radiating to the arms or jaw can be signs of a heart attack (myocardial infarction) and require immediate emergency care. We do not accept patients with suspected heart problems—if you have these symptoms, call 112 directly.
Stroke Symptoms
If you experience sudden paralysis or numbness, difficulty speaking, facial drooping, or dizziness, seek immediate care at an emergency department or call 112. A stroke requires immediate medical intervention to minimize the risk of serious long-term effects.
Severe Abdominal Pain
Intense stomach pain, especially if it appears suddenly, can be a sign of serious conditions such as appendicitis, bowel obstruction, or internal bleeding. Seek emergency care if you have severe, persistent abdominal pain.
Severe Headache & Neurological Symptoms
If you experience a sudden, extreme headache that feels different from previous migraines, or if a headache is accompanied by nausea, vision changes, or altered consciousness, it could indicate a brain hemorrhage or meningitis. Call 112 or go to the ER immediately.
Major Trauma & Serious Accidents
Have you been involved in a traffic accident, a fall from a height, or another serious accident? We do not treat extensive injuries that require surgery, advanced imaging (CT/MRI), or specialist trauma care. For suspected internal injuries, fractures, or heavy bleeding, always go to the emergency room.

Medical Emergencies: If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency—such as severe difficulty breathing, suspected heart attack symptoms, or major trauma—you must bypass urgent care and dial 112 immediately or go to the nearest hospital Emergency Department (akutmottagning).
Is there 24-hour urgent care for tourists in Sweden?
Our clinics are open until 23:00 on weekdays and 20:00 at weekends, and a doctor can visit your hotel through the night in central Gothenburg, Stockholm and Malmö. What urgent care is there for people who don't speak Swedish?
Every Mindr doctor consults in English, and Hindi, Urdu, French, Romanian and Persian are available on request. You book in English, without a personnummer or BankID.
Can I get a prescription at an urgent care visit?
Yes, if the doctor finds it medically appropriate. The prescription goes electronically to the Swedish pharmacy system, and you collect it at any pharmacy with your passport.
