Travel Insurance Medical Documentation in Sweden
What you get, and when
After every visit at Mindr, you get an itemised receipt and a medical document in English that travel insurers ask for, included in the price. We email them to you, usually within 1–5 days. The file is password protected, and the doctor gives you the password during the consultation.
If your insurer needs more, such as a detailed certificate with your full medical record, a trip cancellation certificate or a fit-to-fly certificate, we can write it for an extra fee. A travel cancellation certificate costs 950 SEK and a detailed insurance certificate starts at 1,500 SEK. We always tell you the price first.

What Is Travel Insurance Medical Documentation?
Travel insurance documentation is a doctor-issued certificate confirming medical evaluation and treatment.
Insurance companies may request this documentation to verify that a medical condition occurred during your trip.
The document typically includes:

Standard Insurance Documentation (Always Included)
All international patients who visit Mindr receive standard insurance documentation after their consultation.
This documentation is always provided free of charge.
After your appointment, you will receive:
Medical receipt for the consultation
Insurance claim documentation confirming the medical visit
These documents are typically required by travel insurance companies and international health insurance providers in order to process reimbursement claims.
This means that international patients — including tourists, expats, and visitors — can submit their consultation costs to their insurance provider using the documentation provided.
There is no additional fee for these documents.
Additional Medical or Travel Documentation
In some situations, insurance companies, airlines, or travel providers may require additional medical documentation.
Examples include:
medical certificates for travel interruption
airline fitness-to-fly certificates
extended medical reports for insurance claims
documentation related to trip cancellations
other administrative medical certificates
These documents require additional physician time and administrative work, and are therefore not included in the consultation fee.
When such documentation is requested:
the patient must attend a doctor consultation, and
an additional certificate fee may apply depending on the type of document required.
Patients are always informed of any costs in advance before documentation is issued.
