About Mindr

Healthcare for international patients in Sweden

Mindr is a doctor-led practice providing healthcare for international patients in Sweden, with clinics in central Gothenburg and central Stockholm and TouristDr for online consultations. We care for tourists, expats, students and business travellers from more than 40 countries, in seven languages.

You don’t need a personnummer or BankID. We stay with you from the first consultation to tests, prescriptions, follow-up and the papers for your insurance claim.

How we help

Online, when that’s enough

Many problems can be solved in a video consultation through TouristDr, Mindr’s online clinic. It costs 2,500 SEK, and when it’s medically right, your prescription is sent to any pharmacy in Sweden.

In person, when it’s needed

Our clinics are at Kyrkogatan 44 in Gothenburg and Kammakargatan 66 in Stockholm, both centrally located: by Domkyrkan in Gothenburg and near Hötorget in Stockholm. A clinic visit costs 3,200 SEK. If you can’t come to us, a doctor can visit your hotel or home.

Beyond the appointment

We run quick tests at the clinic, order X-rays and blood tests through our partners, write referrals, follow up on results, and give you the receipt and documents your insurer needs. You always know the price before anything is done.

I needed to make some tests and they were so helpful, they even did some simple test right there in order to dismiss any big infection which should be treated right away. Jag kontaktade Mindr och fick precis den hjälp jag behövde – en tid och blodprover redan nästa dag samt en ultraljudsundersökning inom 48 timmar efter mitt samtal. Efter undersökningarna tog Dr. Toha sig tid att gå igenom resultaten med mig och förklarade allt tydligt. Jag kunde inte vara nöjdare.

I needed a thyroid ultrasound and blood tests following surgery I had in Denmark. Because the procedure was performed abroad, private endocrinology clinics in Göteborg refused to accept me, and I had to wait two months for an appointment at Sahlgrenska.

Every decision starts with a proper medical assessment by a licensed doctor. Sometimes that means a prescription today; sometimes a test, a referral or the emergency department. We tell you which, and why.

Clarity

You understand your options, costs and next steps.

We explain diagnoses and treatment in plain language, in English or one of six other languages. Prices are published, and you approve any test or certificate before it is done.

Continuity

Care that doesn’t end when the appointment does.

We follow up on results, arrange further tests or specialist care when needed, and you can reach us on WhatsApp with questions afterwards.

Personal attention

A person, not a booking number.

We see fewer patients per day than a busy health centre, so your doctor has time to listen, examine you properly and answer your questions.

Our doctors

Every Mindr doctor holds a Swedish medical licence and follows Swedish national guidelines. Our team includes specialists in family medicine and in other fields, such as internal medicine and gynaecology. Between us, we consult in seven languages: English, French, Hindi, Urdu, Romanian, Persian and Swedish.

How Mindr started

Mindr started in central Gothenburg, founded by Dr Toha Soodhun, a specialist in family medicine. The idea was simple: people who are new to Sweden, or just passing through, should get the same careful, unhurried care as anyone else, without being stopped by a missing personnummer or BankID.

When we opened in Stockholm, we took the same way of working with us: the same clinical guidelines, the same prices, the same documents for insurers, and the same rule that every patient leaves knowing what happens next. As medical director, Dr Soodhun sets these standards, makes sure every Mindr clinic and TouristDr follows them, and reviews the medical information we publish on this website.

Online consultations wherever you are in Sweden. How TouristDr works

Both clinics are open by appointment, Monday to Friday 07:00–23:00 and weekends and public holidays 08:00–20:00. Mindr is run by Sculpté AB (org. no. 559335-3419).

Mindr is not an emergency department. If it’s life-threatening, call 112.

Can I see a doctor in Sweden without a personnummer?

Yes. Mindr helps international patients see a private doctor in Sweden without a Swedish personnummer or BankID.

Do I need BankID to book?

No. International patients can book private medical care through Mindr without Swedish BankID.

Can tourists see a doctor in Sweden?

Yes. Mindr helps tourists, expats, international students, business travellers and visitors access private medical care in English.

Can I get a prescription without a personnummer or BankID?

A Mindr doctor can prescribe medication when it is medically appropriate after a medical assessment.

Can I see a doctor online without a personnummer?

Yes. TouristDr is Mindr’s digital care service for international patients without a Swedish personnummer or BankID. Digital care is used when medically appropriate.

When should I call 112?

Mindr is not an emergency department. If symptoms are acute, severe or life-threatening, call 112 or go to the nearest emergency department.
